FAQ
What do I receive for my $500 investment?
Time to concentrate on marketing and selling your product
or service. While the information on the database is public,
it cannot be easily found without spending many weeks searching
and sorting through the various channels necessary to obtain
the information. DirectLink has categorized and centralized
the information on one easy-to-use database.

Approximately how many records are on the
initial database?
The database contains records for all the States, 500 Counties,
400 Cities, 500+Universities and 300+ corporations and more. Over
2,000 organizations, also includes hospitals and medical facilities
now! Also included are pre made mailing labels, in Microsoft Word.
Just print them out!
Is it possible to purchase a narrower breakdown?
I.E. California or Central Valley?
Yes it is, but the vast majority of the entities on the database
are only concerned with quality, price, and your ability to ship
a product or deliver a service in a timely fashion. Location is
of little consequence.
How often are the links and purchasing contacts
updated?
The links are continually checked; never less than once a week.
The purchasing contacts are checked every quarter, or about four
times a year. The main purpose of the database is for you to register
your company with those your wish to do business with and develop
a personal relationship using your own marketing techniques.
What do the buyers on your database purchase?
Everything. They buy virtually everything you can think of from
companies large and small. They buy air conditioners and airplanes.
Paper clips and party hats, suntan lotion to sliced meat. No matter
how unusual you think your commodity or service is, they buy it.
Can you guarantee that I will make sales?
DirectLink is a contact information database compiled to assist
you in easily finding contacts for your goods or services. The data
has been collected using best efforts and is frequently reviewed
and updated. Your success relies on your ability to market your
product or service.
Not just another bid service...
WASHINGTON, DC, December 11, 2002, - Directlink USA, Inc., has
created a unique market niche in the State and local Government
procurement market. The days of shelling out thousands of dollars
to third party bid providers are over.
Directlink USA Inc. has created an inexpensive tool that assists
their clients in gaining open and uncomplicated access to State
and local purchasing departments. Directlink USA assembles and maintains
a database of over 2,000 purchasing departments encompassing: States,
Counties, Cities, Universities, K-12, Hospitals and Corporations
throughout the US.
Directlink USA's main product is a CD that is a one stop shop for
manufacturers, business owners and individual sales professionals
to be able to sell their product or service more effectively to
the various agencies contained on the CD. Along with the purchasing
departments, the CD contains a multitude of easy to use applications
such as:
- Vendor applications when applicable
- Agencies that provide free bid notification services are noted.
- Pre-made mailing labels ready to print out on standard Avery
labels.
- Sample letter that can be customized to the individual customer's
article of trade.
"For the most part, it is necessary for a company to first
become a registered vendor prior to the sale of any goods to an
organization," said Linda DeFina, CEO of Directlink USA.
"The Myth that Current bid matching services on the market
perpetuate, is to create the illusion that they are saving their
customers time and money by delivering matching bids to them via
email."
The reality is that once you register as a vendor, the majority
of the State and local organizations will notify you automatically
and free of charge of any matching bid opportunities corresponding
to your product. Therefore eliminating the need to pay these third
party fees.
Another benefit and perhaps more importantly, is that once a company
is registered in an organizations intranet as a preferred vendor-
everyone within that organization has the ability to utilize their
services. Not every purchase goes through a formal bid process;
there are "small dollar purchases" that the buyer has
authority to execute without issuing a formal bid.
